We encourage children to arrive on time, allowing them to settle comfortably and enjoy the full learning experience from the beginning of their day.
British Oak follows the UAE academic calendar and observes official UAE public holidays.
Health, Safety & Nutrition
Your Child's Wellbeing Comes First
Nutrition
We encourage families to provide healthy, balanced meals and snacks prepared at home, supporting children's growth, energy and wellbeing. Families are asked to follow our nutrition guidelines, including allergy awareness and appropriate food choices, while promoting healthy eating habits from an early age.
Health
A registered nurse is on site during opening hours, supporting children's health and wellbeing. We follow clear procedures for illness, medication, infection control, hygiene and first aid to maintain a safe and healthy environment for every child.
Safeguarding
Safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do. Our team follows clear child protection and safeguarding procedures, with trained staff, designated safeguarding responsibilities and robust reporting processes. Children's wellbeing, dignity, privacy and safety remain our priority at all times.
Security
Our campuses maintain controlled entry, CCTV monitoring and secure collection procedures. Children are released only to parents or authorised individuals, with identification and verification procedures in place when required.
Allergy Awareness
Children's allergies and dietary requirements are carefully recorded and communicated to relevant staff. We work closely with families to minimise risks and ensure individual health needs are understood and appropriately supported.
