Dressed for independence
Everything a child wears should be something they can manage alone. That single rule explains every choice on this list.
Uniform
- Two British Oak polo shirts in forest green
- Navy or beige shorts, trousers, skirt or pinafore
- British Oak sun hat — worn for all outdoor sessions
- Closed-toe trainers with velcro fastening, no laces
- Indoor slippers, kept in the child’s classroom
- A labelled change of clothes, in a cloth bag
Uniform is ordered through the school office and charged separately from tuition.
What to bring daily
- A refillable water bottle, labelled
- A cloth lunch bag if bringing food from home
- Nappies and wipes for the infant and toddler community
- A comfort item and blanket for children who rest
- Reef-safe sunscreen, applied before arrival
- No toys, sweets or nut-containing food, please
Please label every item. Classroom materials are provided by the school.
Health, safety & nutrition
The policies behind a calm day
Nutrition
Menus are prepared on site by a licensed kitchen, reviewed each term by a paediatric dietitian, and published to parents in advance. We are a strictly nut-free school.
Health
A registered nurse is on site during all opening hours. Children with a fever above 38°C, a rash or any infectious illness must remain at home for 24 hours after symptoms resolve.
Safeguarding
Every member of staff holds a valid police clearance and completes annual safeguarding training. Our designated safeguarding lead is available to parents at any time.
Security
Single-point entry, CCTV in all shared areas, and a named-collection policy. Anyone collecting a child must be pre-registered and carry photographic identification.
